Cecil Whig: RSHS Grad directs film about fictional small town

Written by Marcus Dieterle, the Cecil Whig covered "Summer Hill", as well as the 2019 Lux Daze Media Showcase on in a full page spread. An expert can be read here:

"In filmmaker Tyler C. Peterson’s short film “Summer Hill,” the eponymous town simmers in the summer heat as a beauty pageant is underway and the film’s characters each grapple with the uncertainty and anxiety of what life will look like for them after high school.

Peterson, a Rising Sun native who moved to the Baltimore area for college, drew from his Cecil County roots to craft the setting of the fictional small town, Summer Hill, where the story takes place."

Dieterle also touches on the upcoming LDM releases of "Portraits" written and directed by Laura Gede, and "Mom & M" directed by Jena Richardson. The full article can be read here.
